Pawan Datta is responsible for making Max Healthcare a preferred Hospital known for its Quality culture, service excellence & patient care. Pawan brings with him more than 20 years of in-depth experience across Automobile, Consumer Electronics & Home Appliance, Telecom, Insurance sector and now learning Healthcare space and has managed large Quality functions in his previous roles. Pawan has progressed from Max Life where he was working as Vice President –Quality & Business Excellence, with responsibility to oversee Q&BE for entire Operations, Distribution and Corporate Functions.
Pawan is currently working as Head - Quality & Service Excellence for Max Healthcare, which has 14 hospitals in north India, offering services in over 30 medical disciplines with over 2,300 doctors, 10,000 employees and over 2.2 million patients from over 80 countries. He has facilitated the implementation of more than 400 Six Sigma projects. Some of the Key programs he has lead are Business Excellence Program Lead end to end deployment of CII EXIM Business Excellence framework (based on EFQM) and later transitioned it to MBNQA successfully. Max Life Insurance improved its assessment scores year on year and receiving emerging industry leader recognition. This year MLI has been awarded the prestigious IMC Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality Awards 2015.
Customer Listening Program Conceptualized and Institutionalized customer listening program both at Max life and now at Max healthcare. It measures all critical customer touch points through monthly and annual customer listening surveys. Max Healthcare`s customer listening scores improved by 37% within a single year.
Cost Management Program Devising and implementing long term cost effective solutions for the company while ensuring the aspects of Quality and service delivery are adhered to. Comprehensive cost diagnostic study for the entire organization and end to end program management of the entire CMP lead to annualized savings of 37 crs.
ASQ International Team Excellence Awards 2013 and 2014 The projects mentored directly by Pawan represented in the ASQ International Team Excellence Awards, leading to Bronze level recognition at 2014 ASQ World Conference for Quality and Improvement at Texas, US. Pawan spreads the "Global Voice of Quality" across multiple sectors like Manufacturing, Services, Healthcare, Education, ITES/BPO with help from a set of volunteers. He is an active member of multiple Quality Institutions and Guest speaker at renowned educational institutions. He has organized multiple events for engaging Industry and Academia to inculcate quality at the grass roots of Indian society. Pawan has presented multiple papers and external speaker on Quality & Excellence at leading organizations and educational institutes Pawan is a mechanical Engineer and holds Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IMT, Ghaziabad.
