V Care Foundation
V Care Foundation is a patient focussed and volunteer driven organisation for the last two
decades. It was founded by Vandana Gupta post her cancer treatment. V Care truly believes
in empowering cancer patients with care from chaos to control. V Care supports patients
suffering from cancer and their caregivers under different patient programs—counselling,
nutrition, fund, accommodation, supportive care, etc.
Vandana is a part of ethics committee for Breach Candy Hospital and Indian Cancer Society and in the past has been on the ethics committee of Tata Memorial Hospital. She has played key role in bringing global exposure and expertise for the organisation through affiliations with American Cancer Society, International Kidney Cancer Coalition, Lymphoma Coalition, UICC. She is on the Board of SPAEN (Sarcoma Patients EuroNet).
Vandana is on the advisory board of Digiswasthya and BMT Support Foundation. She has been a TEDx speaker.
In the cancer care area the most passionate thing is that you get to know so many strong people who are holding on to each other while sailing the same boat so that they can help and cling to each other when they feel they are drowning. That feeling pushes one to do so much more for them and work along with them to cater to their needs.
