He moved to the field of eye care management & administration after completing M. Phil in Hospital & Health Systems Management from Bits-Pilani. He also specialized in Quality Health Care Management from AHA - Noida & Managing Human Resources for Health in India from PHFI. Dr Saini is Life Member of Academy of Hospital Administration, Member of Asian & International Society of Quality in Health care (ISQua). He is being awarded with WHO-ISQUA Fellowship Scholarship in 2018. He is also an alumni of IIM-B for Organizational Excellence through Leadership.

He is the Present President of Vision 2020. The Right to Sight-INDIA from 2023 to 2026.

Dr. Rajesh Saini represented as National Coordinator on the VISION 2020 INDIA board 2020-2023 & East Zone representative from 2017-2020. Dr Saini has more than 15 years working experience in eye care hospital management.
